It’s certainly possible that once the FBI closes its investigation and then formally unveils its evidence — which apparently will happen tomorrow — a very convincing case will be made that Bruce Ivins perpetrated the anthrax attacks and did so alone. But what has been revealed thus far — through the standard ritual of selected Government leaks which the establishment media, with some exceptions, just mindlessly re-prints no matter how frivolous — is creating the opposite impression. The FBI’s coordinated leaking is making their claim to have solved the anthrax case appear quite dubious, in some instances laughably so.

When Henry Paulson agreed to leave his job as chairman of the powerful Wall Street investment bank, Goldman Sachs to go to Washington as Treasury Secretary in 2006 he demanded extraordinary powers as de facto economic czar. He got it. Paulson is also head of the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets — the secretary of the treasury and the chairmen of the Federal Reserve Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The Working Group is the financial world’s equivalent of the Pentagon war room. Paulson, not Fed chairman Bernanke, is the person running the Administration’s crisis management. And his recent actions indicate he has lost control as the snowballing problems from the semi-government mortgage companies Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to the collapse of the multi-trillion dollar market in Asset Backed Securities (ABS) to the real economy are compounding into the worst crisis since the 1930’s Great Depression.

Two teams of detectives, they told the Sky reporter, had investigated the case and reached the same conclusion. Disgracefully Sky News are challenging poor George – who has a mental age of 10 – to take a lie detector test.

I was moved to post this after seeing Richard Dawkins’s latest attempt to resuscitate Darwinism in its entirety(channel 4, UK), under the pretext of opposing creationism. The Malthusian aspect received marked emphasis. The Malthusian agenda seems to be a logical consequence of oligarchy and can be either extensive, the clearing of people from the heartlands to become colonizers, or intensive, culling pure and simple. The alternative of flourishing sovereign states, harnessing technology for the common good and coexisting in harmony is an abomination in the eyes of the elite.
