While NATO is winning the war of lies and the diplomatic battle at a U.N. that has long lost all credibility, the Libyan Forces are winning one battle after the other on the ground and the competition for the “war criminal of the year award”

A tacit agreement

The whole world has agreed not to talk about NATO’s Libyan campaign. What does this resounding silence mean? Is everything now resolved? Have “the last remnants” of the “Gaddafi regime” now been wiped out? Has every last Libyan, to use David Cameron’s words, now been “protected”. Or have we so distorted language and so twisted meanings that there is no longer any point in reverting to the use of language. Dumber than dogs we bomb on- that evidently is the only way we can express ourselves. Human discourse reduced to a series of explosions of varying pitch and intensity.

Signs suggest that the power scale is tipping from the Western powers to the BRICS. That is Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

LIBYA AND THE BIG LIE: USING HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS TO LAUNCH WARS

Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya

Don DeBar’s Blog

The war against Libya is built on fraud. The United Nations Security Council passed two resolutions against Libya on the basis of unproven claims, specifically that Colonel Muammar Qaddafi was killing his own people in Benghazi. The claim in its exact form was that Qaddafi had ordered Libyan forces to kill 6,000 people in Benghazi. These claims were widely disseminated, but always vaguely explained. It was on the basis of this claim that Libya was referred to the U.N. Security Council at U.N Headquarters in New York City and kicked out of the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva.

Imperialist forces intensify attacks but can’t crush resistance

Witch hunts in “free” Libya

While NATO’s mandate enjoins it to protect civilians, the Alliance allows the forces of the Libyan National Transition Council to continue their abuses. After hunting down black Africans, the summary executions now extend to members of the Qadhadhfa tribe, that of the fallen Leader. Hundreds of thousands of African workers have already fled the country to escape death; the time has now come for certain Libyans to take the road to exile if they want to survive

Resistance in Libya: Imperialism will be buried in Africa

Posted by seumasach on September 23, 2011

Gerald A.Perreira
21st September, 2011
The North Atlantic tribes, under the banner of NATO, and their Arab flunkies are lining up for a showdown in Sirte. Muammar Qaddafi and the Al Fateh revolutionary forces remain defiant and have issued statements saying that they will never surrender. Their extraordinary resistance has most certainly earned them a place in the history of modern warfare. Nowhere in modern history have an army of 100,000 and a population of 6.5 million been able to resist such an overwhelming and murderous invasion for so long.

As I write, NATO’s forces have surrounded the small desert town of Bani Walid. Talks between the rebels and residents of the town have broken down and the people of Al-Fateh have decided to stand and fight against all odds.

U.N. Resolution 1973, which authorized a “no fly zone” that was without regard for international law, which is not difficult since there is no international law, immediately turned into a regime change operation. Under the pretext of protecting civilians, NATO has murdered thousands of Libyans and other African civilians and now, as I write, they have surrounded the people of the small desert town of Bani Walid to commit more murder.

This war, under the banner of the U.N., has once and for all exposed this organization’s fraudulent and criminal nature. On the one hand they have declared 2011 as the “International Year of People of African Descent.” It is more aptly designated as the “International Year for the Destruction of Africa.”
