Bolivarist Academic Highlights CCD/EM Connection

Rosa Luxemburg still saying: Peace means the worldwide revolution of the proletariat!

This article is significant not for its bombast, but for many things , mostly because this is the first academic leftist writer to declare  that  Colony Collapse Disorder  is a result of electrosmog. He is wrong to suggest it is merely a US phenomenon as it is world wide in its range. Japan for instance lost 50% of their bees this year.

VHeadline commentarist, University of Los Andes (ULA) political sciences professor, Dr. Franz J. T. Lee writes:

Sunday 19th July

For those whom the bell is already tolling now in America, it is time to be tactfully and diplomatically crystal clear about the formal logical “contradiction”: violence and peace. Since the military coup in Honduras and its seemingly diplomatic, ‘peaceful’ aftermath, we should be fore-warned of things to come under the Barak Obama ‘Democratic’ administration.

Beyond any doubt, whether we realize it or not, we are currently facing the fleeting moments of emancipatory truth, of fierce coming class struggles, that is, we are living and dying in one of the most virulent and violent epochs of world production, of exploited labor forces, of human history. US: Iraq’s Nabucco chances better than Iran’s

Posted by seumasach on July 17, 2009

“I don’t think there would ever be an agreement at this point among the Nabucco consortium for Iranian participation at this time,”

Can the English language survive the twists and turns of an increasingly disorientated US foreign policy?  Never, or, at least, not at the moment.

Richard Morningstar, the US State Department’s Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy.
A senior US official rules out the possibility of Iran’s participation in Nabucco, saying the gas pipeline consortium would reject Tehran’s involvement.

US diplomacy leaves Kurds adrift

Posted by seumasach on July 17, 2009

So little news  comes out of Iraq that we need to look for clues as to what is actually happening. Here’s a very big clue. How has the US managed the relative stabilisation of Iraq? By conceding ground on the central issue, the integrity of Iraq. All the indications were that the US wanted to partition the country: then, under pressure from the resistance they were forced into a complete about turn.

WASHINGTON – The indefinite postponement of a referendum on Iraqi Kurdistan’s controversial draft constitution just days after a visit by United States Vice President Joe Biden has given rise to speculation that Washington may have played a role in the delay.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Two Israeli warships sailed through the Suez Canal on Tuesday, Israeli and Egyptian officials said, a move that appeared to be a new signal to Iran that Israel’s reach could quickly extend to its archenemy’s backyard.

Twittering Revolutionaries

Posted by seumasach on July 16, 2009

“The United States, ironically, appears to be engaging in the concept of permanent revolution, a Marxist idea, but it is now doing so twitter style.”

Philip Giraldi

The twitter and text message explosion has changed the face of revolution.  Thousands of messages can be sent out in seconds to tell protestors where to gather or what spots to avoid because of heavy police presence.  The internet enables the disaffected and politically marginalized to organize and plan.  The authorities are clearly worried.  One of the first things that the Chinese and Iranian governments did when confronted recently by popular unrest was to limit access to the internet and shut down cell phone transmitters.

L’Iran dans le colimateur des Dauphins

15th July, 2009

Iran to Execute 14 US-Backed Jundullah Members

14th July, 2009

14 members of the Baloch separatist group Jundullah will be publicly executed tomorrow in Iran, according to the state news agency. The 14 were convicted of involvement in a 2006 terrorist attack in the Sistan and Balochistan Province and will be executed in the provincial capital of Zahedan.

In the attack, members of Jundullah dressed as police blocked off the main highway near Zahedan. When the traffic stopped the militants opened fire, killing 22 civilians and injuring six others. The group took credit for the attack days later, the first major attack in what has become a multi-year campaign of attacks on civilians and government workers in Iran’s restive southeast.

Since then the group has launched a myriad of attacks, including a high profile Shi’ite mosque bombing in Zahedan just days before June’s Iranian election. The mosque was partially destroyed in the attack, and at least 30 were killed.

Though Balochistan has seen its share of separatists on both the Iranian and Pakistani side of the border over the years, few groups have committed random violence on as massive as scale as Jundullah. Part of the explanation for how those group sprang out of virtual anonymity in late 2005 into one of the largest terrorist organizations in Iran is direct support it received from the US government, beginning in 2005 and continuing at least into 2007. The US was attempting to undermine the Iranian government through support of domestic opposition groups.

Clinton: US Won’t Hesitate to Use Military Against Iran

Posted by seumasach on July 16, 2009

There is litle sense left in US strategy- I thought they wanted Iranian gas for Nabucco. The failure of their covert operations in Iran has obviously hurt: now they’re just hitting out wildly.
