Yes, indeed, the reality is not as it seems on the BBC or in Socialist Worker. They’re not there and by the look it they’re not going to be. Pretending they’ve just learnt about Al Qaeda is a good way to start dissociating themselves from the whole sorry business. ITNT recommends that the Western elites and their myriad stooges take their cue from this.

Last April, during a highly publicized visit to the cradle of the Libyan rebellion in Benghazi, Senator McCain called for increased American military support for the Libyan rebels.
