Racketeering 101: Bailed Out Banks Threaten Systemic Collapse If Fed Discloses Information

And so the guns come out blazing. The Clearing House Association, another name for all the banks that were bailed out over the past year with the generous contributions from all of you, dear taxpayers, are now threatening with another instance of complete systemic collapse if Bloomberg’s lawsuit is allowed to proceed unchallenged, let alone if any of the “Audit The Fed” measures are actually implemented. No more free passes. A number of the President’s supporters who expressed concerns about the pro-Wall Street tilt of his early administration decisions were prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt so long as he came through on health care. President Barack Obama’s statement over the weekend that the public option for insurance coverage was “just a sliver” of the overall proposal, and the suggestion by Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, that a direct government role in a system intended to provide virtually universal coverage was “not the essential element”, appear to provide conclusive evidence of this administration’s capitulation to corporate interests. The “change you can believe in” President increasingly looks more like a Manchurian candidate of the right. Read the rest of this entry »

Sarkozy says the world can’t rely on just the Dollar

Sarkozy says the world can’t rely on just the Dollar and currencies
The political and economic reality of a multi-polar world will eventually have to be transmitted on the monetary level

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said currencies should be re-aligned to reflect changes in the world, suggesting that the dollar alone cannot remain dominant. “The political and economic reality of a multi-polar world will eventually have to be transmitted on the monetary level,” Sarkozy said today in a speech in Paris. “A multi-polar world can’t count on only one currency.” Though he did not mention the currency by name, Sarkozy’s remarks are among the first by a major Western leader to cast doubt on the role of the dollar. The world must change to limit “excessive and profoundly destabilizing exchange rate fluctuations,” Sarkozy said in a speech today in Paris. “France won’t accept that the euro alone takes the weight of the adjustment, as it has in the past.” The EUR/USD is currently trading at $1.4240 as of 9:00am, London Time. The H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic: Manipulating the Data to Justify a Worldwide Public Health Emergency

Posted by seumasach on August 27, 2009

Global Research

27th August, 2009

A Worldwide public health emergency is unfolding on an unprecedented scale. 4.9 billion doses of H1N1 swine flu vaccine are envisaged by the World Health Organization (WHO).

A report by President Obama’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology  “considers the H1N1 pandemic ‘a serious health threat; to the U.S. — not as serious as the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic but worse than the swine flu outbreak of 1976.”:

“It’s not that the new H1N1 pandemic strain is more deadly than previous flu threats, but that it is likely to infect more people than usual because so few people have immunity” (Get swine flu vaccine ready: U.S. advisers)

Responding to the guidelines set by the WHO, preparations for the inoculation of millions of people are ongoing, in the Americas, the European Union, in South East Asia and around the World. Priority has been given to health workers, pregnant women and children. In some countries, the H1N1 vaccination will be compulsory.

In the US, the state governments are responsible for these preparations, in coordination with federal agencies. In the State of Massachusetts, legislation has been introduced which envisages hefty fines and prison sentences for those who refuse to be vaccinated. (See VIDEO; Compulsory Vaccination in America?)

The US military is slated to assume an active role in the public health emergency

Schools and colleges across North America are preparing for mass vaccinations. (See CDC H1N1 Flu | Resources for Schools, Childcare Providers, and Colleges)

In Britain, the Home Office has envisaged the construction of mass graves in response to a rising death toll. The British Home Office report calls for  “increasing mortuary capacity”  An atmosphere of panic and insecurity prevails. (See Michel Chossudovsky Fear, Intimidation & Media Disinformation: U.K Government is Planning Mass Graves in Case of H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic)

AIMA Bombing.
The 1994 bombing of the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association in Buenos Aires provides an example of how disinformation can become fixed in the public’s mind despite subsequent evidence that contradicts every aspect of it. The incident is repeatedly referenced in articles designed to discredit the Iranian Government. Read the rest of this entry »

Milan Swaps Under Criminal Probe by Prosecutor Pursuing Banks

Milan Swaps Under Criminal Probe by Prosecutor Pursuing Banks

By Vernon Silver and Elisa Martinuzzi

Aug. 27 (Bloomberg) — In June 2005, Milan’s city council voted to hire four banks to arrange Europe’s biggest-ever municipal bond sale at a fee of just 0.01 percent. That minuscule cost puzzled one councilman.

“I had a hunch something was wrong,” says Basilio Rizzo, one of 14 politicians on the 60-member council who tried to change the deal after becoming suspicious of the banks’ motives. “Banks can’t do things for free.” Read the rest of this entry »

Fluoride: it’s a big scam!

I  REFER to the Courier Tuesday, August 18, “Councillors urged to say no to fluoride.”
It is correct that Calderdale Council has previously overwhelmingly
expressed opposition to fluoridation on ethical and medical grounds but in 2007, Coun Bob Metcalfe told the Courier that fluoridation had the ability to prevent tooth decay and also had other benefits.
He omitted to state what the other “benefits” are and who derives them. Read the rest of this entry »
