La révolte anti-bolivarienne s’essouffle. Faute d’arriver à mobiliser les Vénézuéliens, les « insurgés » des beaux quartiers et leurs sponsors états-uniens tentent de mobiliser les diplomates au siège washingtonien de l’OEA (l’Organisation des Etats américains). Le chercheur français Salim Lamrani, décortique ce nouvel échec du Département d’Etat.

Depuis le début du mois de février 2014, les secteurs d’extrême droite de l’opposition multiplient les actes criminels au Venezuela dans le but de rompre l’ordre constitutionnel et de renverser le président démocratiquement élu Nicolas Maduro.

Venezuela’s partnership with Russia : An emblematic step

While the Western system, under the influence of the war lobbies, is based on financial parasitism and unbridled predation, Venezuela and Russia are building an alternative model. The multipolar world is one of balanced partnerships and win-win agreements. But as pointed out by Olivia Kroth, the Libyan tragedy should serve as a lesson: the emergence of an alternative to imperial capitalism must go hand in hand with a strong defense capability.

Under President Chávez, Venezuela is enjoying good relations with Russia as one of its most important trade and military partners in Latin America. By strengthening the Venezuelan-Russian ties, Hugo Chávez wants to help creating a multi-polar world, “a world that permits the rights of peoples to liberty, self-determination and sovereignty”.

ALBA countries join chorus condemning “contras” interference in Syria

In a statement issued during the eleventh summit of the organization, the nine members of the ALBA bloc (Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America) rejected on Sunday the “systematic policy of interference and destabilization” that seeks to “impose by force on the Syrian people a regime change.”
