There is evidence that central banks in several regions of the World are building up their gold reserves. What is published are the official purchases.

A large part of these Central Bank purchases of gold bullion are not disclosed. They are undertaken through third party contracting companies, with utmost discretion.

US dollar holdings and US dollar denominated debt instruments are in effect being traded in for gold, which in turn puts pressure on the US dollar.

Zionists killed Jabari because of his support for Syria

Posted by seumasach on November 20, 2012

According to Russia’s TASS news agency, a grim milestone was achieved in Syria a few days ago: several peaceful demonstrators in Aleppo were massacred. [1] The twist is that the demonstrators were calling for protection by the Syrian army to end the destruction of the city; they were shot by insurgents.

Coup and counter-coup in Washington

This year, a cabal of generals evidently believed it could secure the White House for Mitt Romney by staging the Benghazi incident and using it as the signal for a cold coup under cover of elections — probably including computer-generated election fraud — to bring down Obama. They guessed wrong.

Bomb Iran? No. Bomb Gaza? Yes!

Posted by seumasach on November 19, 2012

A ground invasion may be imminent. But Bibi may – once again – be biting more of a gefilte fish than he can chew. Don’t expect any condemnation from the cowardly petro-monarchies of the Gulf Counter-Revolution Club (GCC), previously known as Gulf Cooperation Council. And don’t expect any condemnation from all those Western “Friends of Syria” who get so outraged by the Assad regime killing “its own people”.

So many wars to launch, so little time. When you’re the political leader of the most militarized nation on the planet – as is the case with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu – you gotta find ways to play with your toys.

GROWING DISCONTENT among emerging economies and developing countries marked the recently concluded Annual Meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Tokyo. Israel: Living by the sword

Posted by seumasach on November 19, 2012

“Other Arab and regional states in good standing with Hamas, notably Qatar (whose Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani recently visited Gaza with promises of financial assistance and investment) and Turkey (Hamas leader Khaled Mashal gave the key note address at the AK party conference of Prime Minister Erdoğan) will themselves be keen for this crisis to be over asap. Their priority right now is Syria. And this Gazan escalation will already be taking the gloss off their apparent success in re-launching a unified Syrian opposition grouping in Doha last week. They are now in the uncomfortable position of having worked closely on Syria with the same Western powers (notably the US, Britain, France, and the EU) who have been rushing to accord legitimacy to Israel’s so-called “self-defence” action against Gaza. They know that this is music to the ears of the Assad regime and that it will be used against them, especially if more Gazan blood is spilled. If this becomes Cast Lead II, then they will be in no position to promote the intervention they desire in Syria while Gaza is burning.”

The internal logic to Israeli policy is to live by the sword, but a more democratic Arab region, more responsive to public demands and dignity can only make such a policy dangerous in the longer term

Cynicism of those who oppose Israeli attacks on Gaza but support pro-Israeli terrorists in Syria

Posted by seumasach on November 19, 2012
