India urges Pakistan to act against terrorists

Pocos episodios hemos visto en el juicio del 11-M tan escandalosos y tristes como el de los análisis de explosivos. Primero ocultaron los análisis de los focos de explosión de los trenes; luego destruyeron los trenes y las prendas de ropa de las víctimas; más tarde, entregaron para analizar un puñado de muestras que no contenían ni un gramo de resto analizable, cuando de los trenes se habían extraído toneladas de objetos; después, se apagaron las cámaras misteriosamente el día que aparecieron componentes que no formaban parte de la Goma2-ECO; al final, achacaron la aparición de esos componentes que no cuadran con la versión oficial a mágicas moléculas voladoras que todo lo contaminan, pero sin que nadie sepa explicar cómo.

India is in something of a state of shock after learning from official sources that its first Hindu terror cell may have carried out a series of deadly bombings that were initially blamed on militant Muslims. The revelation is forcing the country to consider some difficult questions.

The cleanup operation in Mumbai are still ongoing as the police and army search and fight through two big hotels that were attacked. The latest casualties numbers are 125 dead, 327 injured.
As said before, there is something weird about these attacks.

Telegraph reported: Two British-born Pakistanis were among eight gunmen
seized by Indian commandos who stormed buildings to free hostages,
Vilasrao Deshmukh, the chief minister of Mumbai, reportedly said.

This is how I characterised the spirit of the Obama agenda back in January. Is it this that we now see unfolding?

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—Preliminary signs emerging from India’s power center, New Delhi, paint a picture of an unstable situation. Security is already compromised. But a bigger story is taking place in New Delhi, not Mumbai. There are disturbing signs that India, a nuclear-armed nation of a billion people, is witnessing a ‘soft coup’ attempt involving secular rightwing ideologues and Hindu nationalists.

James Petras has taken issue with progressive public intellectuals (PPIs) who endorsed the Obama candidacy on pragmatic grounds and who argued the Democratic candidate is a lesser evil, while at the same time condemning lesser evils abroad.
