Soros Funded Tsipras’ Trip To US Says German Mag
February, 2013
See also: Ta Nea Demands Explanations From Tsipras’ Connection To Soros
George Soros’ think tank INET apparently sponsored Alexis Tsipras’ trip to the US. According to an articlein the German Wirtschaftswoche magazine. The article, basically wanted to analyze Soros’ frenzy to bring down the Euro, and while doing so, it revealed how this multi-billionaire is connected with the SYRIZA party. The article, which is signed by Florian Zerfamp, Angela Chenersntorf and Dieter Snaas, (phonetic spelling) was actually published on Valentine’s Day in Germany, but was only re-published in Greek in the “Ta Nea” newspaper on Saturday. It speaks openly about a very prominent US investor and his relationship with SYRIZA, while there is also mention of Tsipras’ trip to the United States. The icing on the cake, however, is near the end, since the article leaves it to be understood that Soros is using SYRIZA to get to Germany!

“Heads Must Roll’: Germany Needs New Leaders Who Favor Russia, Not US
7th July, 2015
German foreign policy is guided by an outdated philosophy of taking the lead from the United States, when it needs to be articulated by new leaders who stand against NATO muscle flexing and opt for improving relations with Russia, left-leaning website Scharf Links reported.

The idea that Obama is pushing Germany to bail out Greece in order to prevent Russia and China from doing so has become topical over the last few days. According to this article, Obama is not ding that but, rather, just sitting back again under the pretext of not wanting to alienate their main “ally against Russia”, Germany
Why Obama Is Leaving Greece To Fend For Itself Against Germany
8th July, 2015
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is effectively sitting out the contentious talks over the festering economic crisis in Greece, despite increasingly extreme demands from the German government in the wake of last week’s Greek referendum.

Cailean Bochanan
7th July, 2015
Coming at the end of a week in which the Greek people overwhelmingly reasserted their desire to remain in the Eurozone, the “No” vote can only be a result of Tsipras’ ability to convince them that their position in the Eurozone is safe, whatever happens. That now looks like a very shaky assumption and, I expect, a brazen deception on Tspras’ part. It is particularly pertinent to recall, at this point, that it was German Finance Minister, Schauble himself, who first proposed a referendum on proposals for Greece back in May and that this same Schauble had been arguing for Greek withdrawal from the euro in the face of the position of Angela Merkel. Merkel now looks on the way out if the latest take down on her by Spiegel is anything to go by. Could it be that, after a murky and convoluted process that has left everyone perplexed, Schauble has won?

We are dangerously close to a huge disaster and yet we still appear oblivious to what is happening, living on an entirely different planet to the rest of Europe.

As soon as he assumed office, new Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has announced he is about to halt a landmark deal to privatize the country’s biggest port of Piraeus. China’s Cosco Group, a State-owned global shipping giant, had submitted a bid, but now, according to the new government, the sale will be reviewed.

I must admit that I assumed there would be a “Yes” vote given Greece’s abiding commitment to the Eurozone. Tsipras may have known better and the incredible antics of himself and Yaroufakis may have had this covert goal: to achieve an exit from the Eurozone without seeking explicit approval from the Greek people. It’s also possible that this goal is shared by certain European partners, notably Scheuble. This would explain the deliberate burning of boats to the creditors which Yaroufakis’ resignation can hardly undo. This vote is being hailed by the left and eurosceptic right as victory over austerity. However, if the result is that Greece no longer has currency to pay for imports, on which it is totally dependent, the austerity phase will simply transition to the humanitarian crisis phase for which Martin Schulz has quite rightly called on Europe to prepare.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras may have won a victory at home on Sunday as the Greek people dealt a resounding “no” to European austerity policies.
But Greece risks paying a high price for that decision.

Kremlin: Finding Solution to Greek Debt Crisis ‘Not Russia’s Problem’
30th June, 2015
Finding a solution to Greece’s debt crisis is not a matter for Russia but for Athens and its creditors, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
“This is Greece’s problem,” Peskov told journalists on a conference call. “[It’s a matter] of Greece’s relations with its creditors, it’s not a matter for us.”
