Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani criticized on Thursday West’s silence over the recent terror attacks in Tehran led to the assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist, local satellite Press TV reported.

“This move (of silence) by the Westerners, who are frequently condemning terrorist acts but have remained silent on the recent assassinations in Iran, is scandalous and disgraceful,” Larijani was quoted as saying.

He made the remarks in Iran’s central religious city of Qom on Thursday.

On Monday, in northern Tehran , two Iranian nuclear scientist were targeted in two separate terrorist acts. Majid Shahriari was killed and Fereidoon Abbasi was wounded when they were driving to work.

Iranian officials accused the West and Israel for assassination attempts on Iranian nuclear scientists.
