Nausea, headaches, heart palpitations and insomnia; just a few of the effects some Canadian parents claim wireless internet is having on their kids.
Health Canada says there is no convincing scientific evidence to prove Wi-Fi is dangerous. But some experts say there is enough anecdotal evidence to prove radio frequencies do harm little bodies, and now, parents at one Alberta school are protesting impending Wi-Fi installation.
Has enough research been done on Wi-Fi? Are health Canada standards up-to-date? And are your children at risk?
Joining us for this discussion is Dr. Marc MacKenzie, Medical Physicist with the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and spokesperson for the Centre for Inquiry Canada, and Dr. Magda Havas, Associate Professor of Environmental and Resource studies at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.
