There is an issue that has not fully come to the surface in Scotland: the health hazards of wind farms.
Here is wiki report that does not mention health.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_power_in_Scotland

There is much in the report and everything seems, all fine and well.
There is this sentence “The siting of turbines is sometimes an issue, but surveys have shown high levels of community acceptance for wind power in Scotland.”

This may come as a shock but there are other reports that are alarming.

here.

I quote.

Residents suffer from ringing in the ears, headaches, sleeplessness, dangerously elevated blood pressure (requiring medication), heart palpitations, itching in the ears, eye watering, earaches, and pressure on the chest causing them to fight to breathe

And I am writing this just 2 days after the opening of Scotland’s biggest wind power farm http://iclanarkshire.icnetwork.co.uk/news/scotland/headlines//tm_headline=salmond-opens-on-shore-wind-farm&method=full&objectid=23668332&siteid=50144-name_page.html

Then we have expert PR men or doctors in denial, or perhaps we can blame the victims for not knowing what is the matter.

“Wind energy advocates say studies show no proof that turbines cause health problems and that residents who live near wind farms have few complaints about them. ”

Everything is well!
Not. http://www.viewsofscotland.org/library/turbines_and_health.php
