An unusual visitor arrived in Moscow last Tuesday – President of the Kurdistan region in northern Iraq Massoud Barzani. The Kurds played it up as Barzani’s “first official visit” to Russia. Moscow called it a “working visit” but nonetheless embellished the official trappings – President Vladimir Putin received him at the Kremlin on Wednesday.

Dans un article publié le 26 janvier dernier en Russie, Thierry Meyssan expose le nouveau plan de partage du Proche-Orient sur lequel travaillent la Maison-Blanche et le Kremlin. L’auteur y révèle les principales données de la négociation en cours sans préjuger d’un accord définitif, ni de sa mise en œuvre. L’intérêt de l’article est qu’il permet de comprendre les positions ambigües de Washington qui pousse ses alliés dans une impasse de manière à pouvoir leur imposer prochainement une nouvelle donne dont ils seront exclus.
