Nearly a week ago, on January 10, the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz carried a news article by correspondent Yossi Melman pointing out the role of an Israeli security firm, International Consultants on Targeted Security (ICTS), in the failed attempt to detonate a bomb on board Northwest Airlines Flight 253.

On November 27, 2009, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Fifth Estate program aired a show entitled “9/11: The Unofficial Story,”1 for which I, along with a few other members of the 9/11 Truth Movement, was interviewed. In the most important part of my interview, I pointed out that, according to the FBI’s report on phone calls from the airliners provided in 2006 for the Moussaoui trial, Barbara Olson’s only call from Flight 77 was “unconnected” and hence lasted “0 seconds.” Although this Fifth Estate program showed only a brief portion of my discussion of alleged phone calls from the 9/11 airliners, its website subsequently made available a 22-minute video containing this discussion.2

– Newly decoded data provided by an independent researcher and computer programmer from Australia exposes alarming evidence that the reported hijacking aboard American Airlines Flight 77 was impossible to have existed. A data parameter labeled “FLT DECK DOOR”, cross checks with previously decoded data obtained by Pilots For 9/11 Truth from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) through the Freedom Of Information Act.

Thierry Meyssan started the international campaign that questioned the Bush version of the 9/11 attacks eight years ago. Today he recaps the issues for Odnako, a new Russian periodical but not before criticizing the media’s tight “iron curtain” around NATO member populations that isolates from the rest of world opinion. Under heavy media pressure, these populations still imagine that only fringe activists contest the official version of 9/11.
Meyssan also points up the gullibility of Westerners who believe the comic strip storyboard about how some 20 extremists could strike at the heart the world’s largest military empire.

The idea that Osama bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks has been an article of faith for public officials and the mainstream media. Calling it an “article of faith” points to two features of this idea. On the one hand, no one in these circles publicly challenges this idea.

Chacun se souvient de ces photographies de tortures qui circulaient sur Internet. Elles étaient présentées comme les trophées de guerre de quelques GI’s. Néanmoins, les grands médias, ne pouvant en vérifier l’authenticité, n’osaient pas les reproduire. En 2004, la chaîne CBS y consacra un reportage. Ce fut le signal d’un grand mouvement de dénonciation des mauvais traitements infligés aux Irakiens. La prison d’Abu Ghraib montrait que la prétendue guerre contre la dictature de Saddam Hussein était en réalité une guerre d’occupation comme les autres, avec le même cortège de crimes. Sans surprise, Washington assura qu’il s’agissait d’exactions perpétrées à l’insu du commandement par quelques individus non-représentatifs, qualifiés de « pommes pourries ». Quelques soldats furent arrêtés et jugés pour l’exemple. Le dossier était clos jusqu’aux prochaines révélations.

At 5:21 in the afternoon of 9/11, almost seven hours after the Twin Towers had come down, Building 7 of the World Trade Center also came down. The collapse of this building was from the beginning considered a mystery. [1]
The same should have been true, to be sure, of the collapse of the Twin Towers. But they had been hit by planes, which had ignited big fires in them, and many people assumed this combination of causes to be sufficient to explain why they came down.
But WTC 7 had not been hit by a plane, so it was apparently the first steel-framed high-rise building in the known universe to have collapsed because of fire alone. New York Times writer James Glanz quoted a structural engineer as saying: “[W]ithin the structural engineering community, [WTC 7] is considered to be much more important to understand [than the Twin Towers],” because engineers had no answer to the question, “why did 7 come down?” [2]
