US blitz continues to kill Afghan civilians

Fresh US air strikes have again killed at least six Afghan civilians, including women and children in the eastern province of Kunar. Seventeen others were also injured in the overnight attacks which hit civilian homes in Watapour district of the province, a Press TV correspondent reported Monday.

60 drone hits kill 14 al-Qaeda men, 687 civilians

LAHORE: Of the 60 cross-border predator strikes carried out by the Afghanistan-based American drones in Pakistan between January 14, 2006 and April 8, 2009, only 10 were able to hit their actual targets, killing 14 wanted al-Qaeda leaders, besides perishing 687 innocent Pakistani civilians.

EMF is a type of low-intensity non-ionizing radiation that has insufficient energy to break off electrons from their orbits around atoms and ionize (charge) the atoms. EMF includes extremely low frequency radiation (ELF-EMF) from electrical appliances and power lines and radiofrequency (RF) radiation from wireless technologies such as cell phones, cordless phones, personal data assistants, laptops, the towers and antennas that support these technologies and broadcast transmission towers.

The Khost Province killings yesterday have sparked a growing level of outrage at the behavior of US forces across Afghanistan, and have led Afghan President Hamid Karzai to demand once again that foreign forces adhere to their previous agreement to coordinate planned raids with the national government, and base them on accurate information.

The USDA is going to great lengths to create new(genetically modified?) bees capable of resisting parasites. But the Penn State University study, in which the USDA participated, has already ruled out varroa mite and other parasites as the source of the problem known as CCD. We see then that the investigation into the greatest ecological threat we’ve ever faced seems destined to go nowhere.
