Northern Cyprus, Iraq, Kosovo and now Syria all have one binding feature and that is the collapse of Christianity always follows in the wake of Western meddling. It appears that the policy of Saudi Arabia, which does not tolerate one non-Muslim place of worship, is being enacted by elites in London and Washington when it comes to their respective foreign policy. Despite this, the vast majority of churches in the West either remain silent, or they have accepted that the Christian faith is in decline and not worth defending.

In 2010, France made the choice to breath new life into its colonial policy. This led her to instigate a regime change in the Ivory Coast and Libya, and to aim for the same result in Syria. But faced with the fiasco of the latter operation, Paris got carried away by the wave of events that she herself unleashed. After having armed and trained terrorist groups in Syria, the DGSE has now struck at the heart of the Lebanese capital.

President Barack Obama: Tell us the truth about Syria. Stop this violent proxy war.

“Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.”

-George Santayana

The Syrian conflict began around March of 2011.  According to the United Nations, between 20,000-40,000 people have been killed and about 1.5 million people have been displaced.

As we read the news headlines about the Syrian conflict and we talk to our family living in Aleppo and throughout Syria, we find ourselves confused.  What is the truth?  The media leads us to believe that the conflict began as a civil war where protestors were demanding the resignation of President Bashar al-Assad.  There have been sporadic news reports in America of the Syrian government’s army using force against unarmed protestors.  From a distance, of course, this sounds wrong and must be stopped.

Syria NATO Packs It In. Turkey on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown

Thierry Meyssan

Global Research

16th October, 2012

On October 8, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CTSO) began maneuvers dubbed “Inviolable Fraternity” (“НЕРУШИМОЕ БРАТСТВО”). The scenario focuses on the deployment of a peace force in an imaginary country where international jihadists and terrorist organizations operate against a backdrop of ethnic and confessional divisions. The accredited diplomatic corps, which was invited to attend the exercises, listened attentively to the opening address of the deputy secretary general of the organization. He clearly indicated that the CTSO is preparing for an eventual intervention in the Greater Middle East. And for those feigning deafness, Nikolai Bordyuzha specified that his deputy was not speaking of Afghanistan.

The Muslim Brotherhood organized a large demonstration in Amman, on Friday, 5 October 2012, at the end of prayer. At first convened to prod the monarchy towards transformation, it soon rose to near-insurgency levels to the, by now classic, cry of “The people want the regime to go!“.

The recent polls have repeatedly shown that the Turkish public opinion is strongly opposed to any military intervention in Syria. The curious part is that this opinion is present even within the ruling party, AKP, despite PM Recep Erdogan’s “forward policy” toward Syria.
