The covert war against Syria isn’t working out and a kind of hysteria, a serious mental derangement is taking hold of Western elites. They mobilised all their media and political assets, their Gulf dictatorships and European stooges to overthrow Assad. They’re bad losers but who is going to swallow this mad nonsense, a simple rerun of the Iraq lies. I never thought you could accuse them of lack of imagination : not only are they trying to recycle Tony Blair but they’re trying to recycle his lies as well. The West is having a nervous breakdown. Hopefully Russia and China and the rest of the world can help talk us through it before we take suicidal action.
