DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Head of the Syrian-Belgian Friendship Association, Kriss Janssen, said that the western powers are perpetrating a scheme to undermine Syria because it is a resistant country.
In an interview with the Syrian TV on Tuesday, Janssen added that there are major media institutions and channels involved in this scheme.
He added that ” Destroying Syria as a country and society is an old scheme, but the western countries tried to exploit the events which took place in some Arab countries such as Egypt, Tunisia and Libya to exert more efforts in this regard.”
“There are lots of Western media channels and institutions, but they are all under the control of a huge media group. The news they circulate, broadcast and write are coming from al-Jazeera and al-Arabiya channels. They never investigate the creditability of these news, they even don’t want to know the reality of the events in Syria.” Janssen concluded.
