Libyan cities on Tuesday witnessed clashes between Libyan forces and protesters leading to the killing of scores of people, while Staff of the French Army announced that it would start its first mission in the Libyan atmosphere launched from its aircraft carrier, Charles de Gaulle.
Regarding the US, British and French military operation against Libya, US military leadership spokesperson told Reuters that a US F15 fighter plane crashed because of a technical fault last night.
For his part, Turkish Parliament Speaker said at a press conference before heading for New York that the military action against Libya contradicts with the UN Security Council resolution on imposing a no-fly zone.
In turn, US Defense Secretary said that the military operation in Libya will decrease largely during the few coming days, considering that the coalition forces against Libya completely agree with the Security Council resolution and aims at establishing a no-fly zone and protecting civilians from violence.
Ukraine stressed its rejection of occupying Libya by armed foreign forces, voicing support of the UN resolution on rejecting any form of foreign occupation of Libyan lands.
