World leaders continue to ignore the suffering of the people of Gaza. But their peoples, the millions who took to the streets in cities worldwide in the past few days to protest the Gaza massacres, are not. They speak for the world conscience and cannot be silenced by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice or the Israeli propaganda machine. The demonstrations tell it like it is. War crimes are taking place in Gaza under the nose of the spineless UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and his useless United Nations. And Israel has to be held accountable for those crimes.

The good for nothing Security Council resolution, which even Israel rejected, puts the blame on Hamas in the killing of more than 200 children. It says it is okay to kill children as long as Hamas remains in power. You either surrender or we will keep decapitating your little ones. This is the message from Israel and Washington and all those who support them, including the idiots in the Czech foreign ministry. Isn’t it? But the world’s conscience cannot be fooled. It cannot be silenced. The bombs of Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his Defence Minister Ehud Barak cannot make it disappear. It says the Israelis are murdering children and suffocating the Gaza Strip.

The huge response to the call made in the UAE to help Gaza and the demonstrations which took place across the country on Friday are shining examples. In fact they are reminders that with every tank shell Israel fires on Gaza, the hope of achieving peace in the Middle East becomes increasingly distant. The unprecedented protests in the UAE, which has always supported and promoted a just peace in the Middle East, mean that the people here can no longer tolerate Israeli bullying. The murders must stop now. Otherwise the international community and its leaders are simply killing any hope of peace in this troubled region. This is the message sent by the demonstrations around the world
