U.S. Delegation to Visit Russia for Syria Talks

A delegation from the U.S. State Department headed by Special Coordinator for the Middle East Frederick Hoff will visit Russia this week to discuss the crisis in Syria, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on Tuesday.
The two sides have been holding talks by phone on the issue in recent days, he said.
“Talks continue at various levels. We are meeting with Hillary Clinton’s deputy who is responsible for the Middle East and Syria in particular, and we are waiting for a state department visit here to Moscow in three days,” he said.
